Fallow Hollow Deer Farm

The mission of Fallow Hollow Deer Farm is to provide naturally raised, grass based meats that are both good for you and the environment. We raise a superior herd of Fallow Deer and assorted poultry. Occasionally we have available pork, beef, veal and high quality rabbits. We are a New York family farm in the Catatonk Valley, of Tioga County, known to some as the backdoor of the Finger Lakes Region. Our breathtaking hillsides proved optimal graze and browse for our livestock. Fallow Hollow Deer Farm began partly as a frustration to the seasonal availability of venison and a desire for a more nutritious diet and a healthier lifestyle. In 1997, with a farm that had been in the family for five generations, a superior herd of fallow deer from Robinia Hill Deer Farm (the oldest deer farm in the US), and the guidance of Peter Duekensbuehler, deer farm consultant, the Fallow Hollow Deer Farm was created. We support New York farming efforts through our memberships or board seats in Pride of New York, Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty, Meadow Raised Meats, North American Deer Farmer's Association NY Branch, Northeast Deer and Elk Farmers Association, The Northeast Cervid Marketing Cooperative, Cornell Small Ruminant Marketing Program, Graze NY, NY Farms!, NY Farmer's Direct Marketing Association, Small Scale Food Processors Association, the Catatonk Valley Association, NY Farm Bureau, CCE of Tioga County Agricultural Production, Tioga County 4-H, and Tioga County Farm Bureau.
