A car dealer owns a car dealership also called a vehicle local distribution. This is a business which sells new or used cards. The used card would have to be certified and sold at the retails level. Some dealerships also do the same for trucks, a truck dealership. They can also have a mechanic on site, where they would purchase old or damaged cars, restore them and then sell them on. It is important to check the reputation of the car dealer to ensure that they are trustworthy- this is recommended by the Federal Trade Commission. Modern car dealerships can be multibrand car dealers which sell card from various car manufacturers.
